Obituary for Ryanne Jade Cara

Ryanne Jade Cara, 4, beloved daughter of Matthew J. and Vanessa (Rossi) Cara, of Conyngham, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening after a sudden illness at home.

Ryanne was born May 16, 2011 in Berwick. She attended Just Imagine Pre-School in Conyngham and took tap dancing at the Jeanne Burger Performing Arts Center. She was an active participant in the Sunday school at Conyngham United Methodist Church, where her family are active members.

Surviving in addition to her parents, are sisters Hallie and Ellena, at home; paternal grandparents John and Deborah Cara, Conyngham; maternal grandparents Larry Rossi, Conyngham; and Rebecca Rossi, Sugarloaf; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am from Conyngham United Methodist Church, 411 Main Street, Conyngham, with her pastor, the Rev. Cheryl Trent officating. Burial will follow in Conyngham Union Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 4-8 pm at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate an unwrapped toy to be brought to the service, which will then be donated to Brandon’s Forever Home; or donations to the Conyngham Recreation Board, c/o Deborah Cara, PO Box 405, Conyngham, PA 18219, for playground equipment to be purchased in Ryanne’s name for Whispering Willows Park.
